Amersham Owned

Solo Design has designed the branding for a sustainable department store in Amersham owned and run by The Hospice of St Francis. The brief was to design a logo that placed the new shop in the heart of the community giving it a sense of place within the town of Amersham. The style of illustration is reminiscent of the advertising posters used on the Metropolitan line and London Transport when the line was first built in 1892 putting Amersham on the map as a commutable town and a place for Londoners to visit in the countryside.
